New to peptides? First time? Start with the BAC Water tab to figure out how much water to add to your vial, then come back here to calculate your dose.

Vial sizepeptide mass in the vial

This is the total peptide in your vial — check the label. Common sizes are 2 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg. Haven't reconstituted yet? See the step-by-step guide.

Bacteriostatic Waterdiluent volume added
mL

How many mL of bacteriostatic water you injected into the vial. A common starting point is 2 mL. Not sure? Use the BAC Water tab to work backwards from your dose.

Syringecapacity & graduations

Match this to the syringe you're using. Most peptide users use a 100-unit insulin syringe.

Reconstitution Guide

A clean workflow keeps your sample stable, your unit count consistent, and your data clean. Follow these eight steps every time you open a new vial.

SterileAlways wash hands, swab vial tops, and use a fresh needle for each draw. Work over a clean, flat surface.

0 / 7 steps complete
  1. 01
Lay out supplies. Place peptide vial, BAC water vial, syringe and alcohol swabs on a clean surface within easy reach.
  2. 02
Swab both vial tops. Wipe each rubber stopper with a fresh alcohol swab. Allow 10–15 seconds to air-dry.
  3. 03
Draw your BAC water. Pull air equal to your target volume into the syringe, inject it into the BAC vial, then slowly draw the water out. Use the BAC water tab if you're working backwards from a target draw.
  4. 04
Inject along the wall. Angle the needle so water trickles down the inner glass. Never squirt directly onto the lyophilised powder — it can degrade the peptide.
  5. 05
Roll, don't shake. Gently rotate the vial between your palms until fully dissolved. Shaking foams the solution and breaks peptide bonds.
  6. 06
Refrigerate. Store at 2–8 °C, away from light. Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 4–8 weeks. Unreconstituted lyophilised stock freezes well for 1–2 years.
  7. 07
Draw each dose with the calculator. Swab the stopper before every draw; use a fresh needle each time.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

BAC water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth. It keeps reconstituted peptide solutions stable for weeks under refrigeration. Plain sterile water also works but should be consumed within 24 hours.
It depends on the concentration you want. 2 mL into a 10 mg vial yields 5,000 mcg/mL. Less water → higher concentration → fewer units per dose. The BAC water tab works backwards from a target draw to find the exact volume.
Insulin syringes are graduated in units, where 100 units = 1 mL. So 10 units = 0.10 mL, 5 units = 0.05 mL. This calculator converts your dose to units on the syringe you picked.
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C, away from light. Most peptides remain stable for 4–8 weeks reconstituted. Unreconstituted lyophilised stock should be frozen and can last 1–2 years.
Some peptides are commonly stacked (CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin, for example). Calculate each separately, draw the right unit count of each into the same syringe, and use immediately. Don't pre-mix into a shared storage vial.
Insulin syringes are only readable to ~1 unit. Round to the nearest whole. For better precision, change your BAC water volume so the dose lands on a clean integer — the BAC water tab finds it for you.
Concentration is too low for that syringe. Either add less BAC water (raising concentration), or switch to a higher-capacity syringe (a 100-unit / 1 mL).
The pre-filled doses are general reference points from published literature — starting points only. Always consult current literature for your specific protocol. This tool is for research use only.

The formula

BACmL = (vial total ÷ dose) × (draw units ÷ syringe units/mL)

Choose how many units you want to draw per dose. The calculator finds the exact BAC water volume that makes your dose equal that draw amount on your chosen syringe.
